Artisans Create the Masterpiece that is our Church

Wolrd-renowned master iconographers and woodcarvers have created the artwork that continues to fill the walls of the church and the hand-carving of iconastase, altar tables, shrines, and all church furnishings.

Master mosaic artists work in conjunction with the monastery brotherhood to create traditional Orthodox masterpieces of inlaid glass and stones.

Icons are very important in Orthodox spiritual life, displayed prominently in the Orthodox home, and religious icons cover most of the wall space and even the ceilings of the Orthodox church.

Iconography is done in a strict, dogmatic style that has remained unchanged for nearly two centuries.
